Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia in the elderly. To date, there are no established therapies that slow or reverse the course of disease. Dozens of epidemiological associations exist between nutritional and environmental factors and the development of AD, but few studies have been done to explore whether modification of these risk factors changes the course of the disease.
